Reserved yoga instructor May's peaceful, clean-living life is thrown out of balance by the arrival of her long-lost sister Shiva, a street-smart yet naive young woman trapped in an abusive relationship. May feels compelled to rescue the hapless Shiva, but she finds herself increasingly drawn out of her sedate world and deeper into Shiva's chaotic one.

Introduction
"Bleeding Heart" is a 2015 drama-thriller movie directed and composed by Diane Bell. The film stars Jessica Biel and Zosia Mamet as estranged siblings who reconnect and become entangled in an abusive relationship. The narrative focuses on themes of familial bonds, violence, self-discovery, and freedom.

Plot
Jessica Biel stars as May, a shy yoga instructor living in Los Angeles with her partner, Dex (Edi Gathegi). Her life is a design of routine and calmness, however this equilibrium is interrupted when she receives a telephone call from her long-lost half-sister, Shiva (Zosia Mamet), a sex employee living with her aggressive sweetheart, Cody (Joe Anderson).

Although worried, May is amazed by the connection to her household past and drawn to Shiva's volatile world. The altruistic May soon discover herself in a hazardous confrontation with Cody as she tries to pull Shiva out of her unpleasant condition.

Main Characters
Might, played by Jessica Biel, is an obedient, calm, yoga professional who embodies calmness and tranquillity. She lives a disciplined and ordered life, a stark contrast to her half-sister Shiva's chaotic existence. Shiva, played by Zosia Mamet, is a shrewd, broken, and mentally volatile woman who engages in the world of prostitution to make ends fulfill.

Development and Conflict
As the movie advances, May tries to help Shiva escape her toxic relationship with Cody. However, her good objectives are consulted with resistance from Shiva who is initially hesitant to accept her sibling's aid. Her attempts are even more complicated by Cody's aggressiveness and displeasure at May's disturbance, intensifying the tension in the story.

Resolution
The film climaxes as May, driven by desperation and protective love, must confront Cody. This leads to a ruthless battle where May eliminates Cody in self-defense to secure Shiva. The film ends on an unclear note, with May and Shiva repeling to an unknown future, their bond strengthened by this shared terrible experience. We're delegated question the extreme improvement of the yoga-teacher-turned-protector and the path she launches now.

Styles
"Bleeding Heart" checks out the style of the unavoidable nature of familial ties, the intricacy of sisterhood, and aspects of freedom and redemption. It emphasizes class differences and the impact they have on people' lives. Through the character of May, the film looks into a journey of self-discovery and the extreme measures she takes to conserve her sis, transforming from a serene yogi to a fierce protector.

Conclusion
"Bleeding Heart" presents a gripping narrative of family, angst, and survival. Diane Bell's deft storytelling, combined with compelling performances by Jessica Biel and Zosia Mamet, offers a captivating look at the worlds of two radically different siblings. While the story is gritty, the main focus is the psychological bond that forms in between the sis in spite of their different courses in life.

In all, "Bleeding Heart" is a powerful mix of drama and suspense that raises powerful questions about identity, struggle, and the degree to which one is willing to go for family.
