The 2nd chapter functions Will's child, Dylan. Called after Bob Dylan by her late mother, she is now a rebellious teen attempting to manage a life ruined by heartbreak and loss and the truth she never got to satisfy her birth mom.

In the final chapter of the film, a grown-up Rodrigo winds up sitting next to a woman on a plane who reads a script. He strikes up a conversation, learning that she's Rodrigo's granddaughter, who tells him about the script based upon the lives of her grandparents: Will and Abby.
