Introduction
"The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning" (2006) is a horror film directed by Jonathan Liebesman and produced by Michael Bay. This film serves as a prequel to the 2003's "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", representing the origins of the vicious Hewitt family, mostly the titular character Leatherface, and their reign of fear in Texas.

Synopsis
The film opens in the slaughterhouse where a warped and premature infant is disposed of by a worker. The baby is found by Luda May, a member of the Hewitt household, who raises him under the name Thomas. Twenty years later on, the now grown-up and exceptionally disrupted Thomas, works at the exact same slaughterhouse. However, when it gets closed, Sheriff Hoyt, on the verge of expulsion, murders the town's sheriff to presume his identity.

Beginning of the Terror
Thomas becomes Leatherface when he eliminates a cyclist utilizing a chainsaw. Meanwhile, a group of buddies-- Eric, his bro Dean, and their sweethearts, Chrissie and Bailey-- drive through Texas on their way back home from Vietnam. They cross courses with the murderous household after they get associated with a mishap attempting to avoid striking a young, frightened female.

Kidnap and Unleashing Horror
Hoyt, who is the de facto constable, comes to the mishap scene and rather of assisting them, he brings them to the Hewitt home-- a home of pure horror and sadism. At their home, Hoyt, Leatherface, and the rest of the household brutalize and torture the kidnapped victims. Things worsen when Leatherface, deeply scarred from a self-inflicted injury, wears a mask made from the skin of the young woman they mistakenly eliminated, therefore marking the structure of his terrible tradition.

Escape Attempt and Climax
As the horrifying night advances, those abducted defend their survival. Chrissie, able to get away at first, returns to save her friends. Sadly, her rescue mission stops working and all her good friends are killed. In a suspenseful cat-and-mouse game, Chrissie directly prevents Leatherface, just to be killed when discovered hiding in the rear seat of a vehicle that unknowingly got Hoyt while he was on patrol.

Conclusion
"The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning" provides a dark and gritty backstory to an iconic scary film killer, Leatherface. It showcases his transformation from a disturbed slaughterhouse employee to a callous murderer and the beginning of the Hewitt family's reign of scary and violence that was to seep into Texas folklore. This movie provides intense scary and graphic scenes, leaving the audiences with an unsettling understanding of the twisted household.
