Maria Elena Bello was born upon April 18, 1967, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA. She is the child of Kathy, a school nurse and instructor, and Joe Bello, a specialist. Bello grew up in a working-class Roman Catholic household and has two siblings and a sister. She is of Italian and Polish descent.
Bello attended Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, where she developed an interest in acting. She later on enrolled in Villanova University, where she studied political science with the intent of pursuing a career in law. Performing Career
