David Byrne is a Scottish-American musician and multi artist. He is known primarily as the frontman of the band Talking Heads, which was active from 1975 to 1991. He has since then been active as a director, movie producer, actor and record producer.
After his work with Talking Heads, he has released a number of solo and collaborative projects with Annie Erin Clark (better known as St. Vincent) and Brian Eno. He has been known to utilize modern technology and avant-garde expressions in he’s works. Byrne transformed in 2008 together with his associates an old building in New York City to an instrument.
