"It is hard to interest those who have everything in those who have nothing"

Helen Keller's quote, "It is difficult to interest those who have whatever in those who have absolutely nothing," suggests that individuals who are privileged and have all the resources they need may be less interested in those who are less lucky and do not have standard needs, such as food, shelter, and clothing. Simply put, people who have actually never ever experienced hardship or challenge may have a hard time to relate to or feel sorry for those who have to struggle for their everyday survival. This quote is a suggestion to all of us that we should be mindful of the social distinctions that exist and make every effort to be more thoughtful and understanding towards those who are less fortunate.
