This quote by Jennifer Lopez speaks to the idea that effort must be commemorated, not shamed. She is recommending that the term "diva" is typically utilized to explain someone who strives and is successful, but that this is incorrect. Rather of using the term "diva" to explain somebody who works hard, we should be applauding them for their dedication and effort. Lopez is saying that effort needs to be respected and admired, not looked down upon. She is motivating us to recognize and value those who put in the extra effort to accomplish their objectives. By doing so, we can produce a culture of respect and affection for hard work, instead of among judgement and criticism.
