"The absent are never without fault, nor the present without excuse"
- Benjamin Franklin
About this Quote
This quote by Benjamin Franklin is a suggestion that no one is ideal. Even when somebody is not present, they can still be at fault for something. Likewise, even when someone exists, they can still make mistakes and have a reason for their actions. This quote is a tip that we need to not be too quick to judge others, as everybody makes mistakes and has their own factors for their actions. It is important to keep in mind that everybody is human which we ought to be understanding and forgiving of others. We must not be too quick to evaluate or criticize somebody for their errors, as we all make them. Instead, we must be patient and understanding of others and their mistakes.
