This quote by Blaise Pascal is motivating us to take a leap of faith and believe in something greater than ourselves. He is suggesting that even if faith can not be proven, it is still worth taking a chance on it. Pascal is stating that if we believe and it ends up being true, we will get whatever, however if it ends up being false, we will lose nothing. He is urging us to take a danger and believe in something, even if it can not be shown. He is suggesting that believing in something is a smart wager, and that we should not be reluctant to do so.
