He believes that the injustice of Black individuals is not restricted to one specific country, however is a worldwide problem. Therefore, he sees himself as a global resident who need to work towards the liberation of all Black individuals, no matter where they lie. However, Garvey makes it clear that he sees Africa as the ultimate objective of this struggle, and that he will continue to fight up until Africa achieves its independence and liberty.
