People would not be judged or victimized based upon their race or gender, therefore these words would have no power. This quote emphasizes the requirement for a society in which everybody is treated with regard and dignity, despite their race or gender. It is just when we create a society in which equality is a reality, not just a word, that we can genuinely move on and develop a better world for everybody.
