It requires a great deal of nerve and strength to be able to speak the truth in a caring way. Real friendship is not about avoiding tough discussions, but rather having the guts to challenge them. It has to do with loving somebody enough to inform them the reality, even if it hurts. It is about being willing to accept the defects of your pal and still liking them unconditionally. True relationship has to do with being sincere and open with each other, and having the courage to speak the fact in a loving method.
