Nathan is a former Soviet objector who came to be an Israeli politician (Likud).
Sharansky was born Anatoly Borisovitj Sjtjaranskij of Jewish moms and dads in Donetsk, the after that Ukrainian SSR, USSR. He researched mathematics in Moscow.
