We must be mindful of the intents of those around us and be prepared to protect ourselves from those who may not have our best interests in mind. It is important to remember that not everybody will be encouraging of our objectives and aspirations, which we must be prepared to face opposition and criticism. It is a hard lesson to discover, however it is a crucial one. We should understand individuals we select to associate with and be prepared to defend ourselves when necessary. It is a lesson that will serve us well throughout our lives.
