This quote by Morrie Schwartz speaks with the concept that once we have found meaning in our lives, we are no longer content to remain in the same location. We are driven to progress, to continue to grow and learn and experience new things. This is because meaning offers us a sense of purpose and direction, and when we have that, we are no longer content to simply remain in the same location. We wish to keep pushing ourselves and checking out new possibilities. We wish to keep growing and finding out and discovering new things. We wish to keep pursuing something much better, something more significant. We want to keep going forward, because that is where we discover the most fulfillment.
